We have 3 horses, a heard of 32 sheeps, 5 siberian huskys, 3 alaska huskys, 4 cats and around 50 henses / chickens. I told her that I only planned to be there for a few months, as I was still deciding where I wanted to settle down in Norway. And she looked at me and said that that was a hard choice, but for what it was worth, the one place she had been in Norway with the friendliest people was the Helgeland coast. Helgeland is the southern part of Nordland county in Norway between Trøndelag and the Arctic Circle right in the centre of Norway. The Helgeland coast is characterised by a wide belt of islands stretching some 50 km into the Atlantic and fjords that cut deep into the mainland.
